Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a session cost?
We offer a range of session types and music production services, so our rates are bespoke for every project.
Do you have a minimum booking length?
For our music bookings the minimum session time we offer is a half-day session, which is 4 hours long.
Does the price include an engineer or producer?
Yes! Unlike some studios, our rates are inclusive of an engineer or producer (depending on which type of session you book)
Can I pay on the day?
We require full payment in advance to confirm all bookings, so unfortunately we can’t accept payment on the day.
Can I book a studio to bring my own laptop and work on?
Of course! Our studio space can be booked out as dry-hires, and we even provide an engineer at no extra cost so they can help with any technical queries on the day. You’ll need a USB-C or Thunderbolt connection to connect to our interface.
How does your mixing and mastering service work?
We can either work remotely, or through attending a mixing session in person at our studio. This means you can choose the option that works best for you.
How long will it take to record/produce my song?
As every song and session is different, we’d always advise getting in touch with the team to chat more about your project. As a rough guide, if you’re booking a full-day session to work on production, by the end of the session you can expect a high quality demo of your song.
What if I can’t make it to my session or need to cancel?
Once a session is booked and paid for, if for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule, we’ll need 72 hours notice to avoid losing your deposit. If it’s less than 72 hours notice, we’ll do our best to offer you an alternative slot within 7 days of your original booking.
We understand that in rare circumstances emergencies can happen on the day of your session, resulting in delays or short term cancellations. If this is the case, please call the studio as soon as possible to speak to the team.
How does your Full Song Production process work?
Every song and project is different, but normally we’ll invite you to the studio for a free consultation on your music. Here we can get to know you better and discuss the vision for your song(s). Following this we’ll put together a bespoke proposal for you outlining the process for the production of your song(s). Get in touch with us to find out more and to book in a consultation with the team!
Do you work remotely or with clients abroad?
We have vast experience working with clients who are based outside London or even based abroad. If you’re interested in finding out about how we can work remotely, get in touch for more details.
Can you help improve my production which I’ve started at home?
Yes! We have lots of experience working with clients who begin their projects outside of the studio environment and then come to us to finish the production. We love helping people take their productions to the next level, so get in touch to find out more about how we can work together.
What rights do I have on my songs?
We are aware that this is a very sensitive matter for independent artists. We strive for complete transparency in every project we do and always give clarity on our proposals about all of the rights and royalties (e.g. ownership, song share agreement, production points). We work closely with the MU and PRS to ensure we are always fair with musicians. We are musicians ourselves, so the artists are always the priority!
